The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions on I-64 in Perry County.   

On Thursday, February 2, INDOT crews will be performing maintenance duties in the west bound lanes of I-64 at the 66.8 mile marker.  This work location is between State Road 145 (Exit 72) and State Road 162 (Exit 63). 

Work will continue through Friday, February 3. 

It is anticipated all work will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time and be complete by 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces rising waters have caused the closure of State Road 257 from U.S. 50 (Washington) to State Road 356 (Otwell).           

The closures will remain in effect until waters recede.

The Indiana Department of Transportation will close Division Road on the east side of U.S. Route 231 (U.S. 231) in Jasper next week.  The closure is needed to allow crews to install a drainage structure under Division Road just east of U.S. 231.

INDOT forces will close Division Road at the U.S. 231 intersection at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17 through approximately 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, weather permitting.  The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather.

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces rising waters have caused the closure of State Road 145 from State Road 64 (Birdseye) to Interstate 64.

The closure will remain in effect until waters recede.  

When encountering a flooded roadway, INDOT urges drivers to turn around and not drive through standing water.  According to the National Weather Service, most flooding deaths occur in automobiles. Six inches of standing water is enough to cause passenger cars to stall and a foot of water will float many vehicles.

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces rising waters have caused the closure of roads in the Vincennes District.   The closures will remain in effect until waters recede.   INDOT is advising motorists to use caution around these areas of high water:          

In Daviess & Pike Counties, State Road 257 is closed from U.S. 50 (Washington) to State Road 356 (Otwell).

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions today on Interstate 64 (I-64) in Dubois and Perry counties.   

 INDOT maintenance crews will be performing maintenance work in both the east and west bound lanes of I-64 from State Road 162 (S.R. 162) to State Road 37 (S.R. 37).  It is anticipated all work will be complete by 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
