Temporary lane restrictions on I-64 for herbicide spraying

The Indiana Department of Transportation  is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 64 in Warrick, Spencer, Dubois, Perry and Crawford counties. 

INDOT herbicide crews will be applying spring treatments on I-64 from S.R. 61 (Exit 39) to S.R. 66 (Exit 92).  Crews will begin on Tuesday, April 10.  All lanes will be affected in both directions.  All lane restrictions will take place from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., local time each day.

Pike Co. Traffic Alert:  SR 61 closing April 9-13

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that State Road 61 will be closing near Winslow.  Railroad contractor crews will be closing S.R. 61 from the junction of State Road 56 to the junction of State Road 64.  Crews will be making repairs to the crossing 3.3 miles north of S.R. 64.

Work will begin on Monday, April 9, at approximately 8:00 a.m. local time.  It is anticipated the roadway will re-open to traffic by 2:00 p.m. local time on Friday, April 13.

Pike County roads closing next week

The Indiana Department of Transportation is announcing that beginning on or after Wednesday, April 2, County Road 400 North (C.R. 400N) will close temporarily and County Road 175 East will close permanently.  Both roads are located in Pike County, southeast of Petersburg.

C.R. 400N will be closed from the junction of State Road 61 (S.R. 61) to the junction of County Road 175 East (C.R. 175E). Crews will begin work at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time, weather permitting and re-open to traffic 10 days after it’s closed.

Sobriety checkpoint planned for Dubois Co.

Troopers from the Indiana State Police Jasper Post will be conducting a sobriety check point at an undisclosed location in Dubois County on Friday, March 16.  Those drivers passing through the check point area should have their licenses and registrations ready to present to troopers and will only be detained briefly while troopers determine whether further investigation is necessary.

CR 600 N. in Pike Co. to close

CR 600 N. in Pike Co. to close

INDOT is announcing that beginning on or after Wednesday, March 14, County Road 600North (C.R. 600 N) in Pike County will close permanently.

C.R. 600 N will be closed from the junction of County Road 275 East (C.R. 275 E) to the junction of County Road 200 East (C.R. 200 E). Crews will begin work at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time, weather permitting.

Crews are closing C.R. 600 N for construction of the I-69 Corridor.

The Indiana Department of Transportation is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 64 in Dubois and Perry counties.   

On Wednesday, February 22, INDOT crews will be performing maintenance work on I-64 from State Road 162 (Exit 63) to State Road 37 (Exit 79).  Work will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time and be complete by 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.  All lanes of I-64 in each direction will be affected during this time.

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 64 (I-64) in Spencer and Perry counties.   

On Thursday, February 169, INDOT crews will be performing maintenance work on I-64 from State Road 162 (Exit 63) to State Road 37 (Exit 79).  It is anticipated all work will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time and be complete by 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.  All lanes of I-64 in each direction will be affected during this time.
