Jasper Kung Fu Martial Arts Academy opens

Jasper Kung Fu Martial Arts Academy opens

Jasper Kung Fu is now open for business at 504 3rd Ave.  Founded by Brad Freeman, who has been practicing Wing Chun Kung Fu for almost a decade, Jasper Kung Fu offers a family-oriented approach to martial arts. While many martial arts schools are focused on fighting for fighting sake alone, Jasper Kung Fu is focused on strategies that give students both a physical and mental advantage in both Kung Fu, and in life.

"At Jasper Kung Fu, our mission is to assist students in achieving their specific goals, whether they be fitness, focus, confidence or self-defense goals. Our real aim is to help students increase the quality of their lives and this can be done through the discipline of Kung Fu," said Freeman.

Jasper Kung Fu focuses on the Wing Chun form of Kung Fu. It is a pure war art from Southern China that combines defense and neutralization of the enemy using the least possible energy. Kept secret for centuries, it was revealed to the Western World through Bruce Lee.
