The St. Ferdinand Spiritual Life Center and the Hilgeman Auction House are slated to be two of the six markt locations for the 15th annual Ferdinand Christkindlmarkt while the other new locations, the Forest Park High School Junior High Gym and the FPHS Cafeteria, increase the number of vendors at the established FPHS markt site.

Vendors at the St. Ferdinand Spiritual Life Center will showcase hair bows, badge reels, woodcarving, handcrafted wooden bowls, roasted nuts, fudge, cookies, and candies, hand cut holy cards, hand-stamped jewelry, marbled scarves, journals, cards, hand pained glass ornaments, Springerle Cookie molds, hot drinks and carry-out chili.

Vendors at the Hilgeman Auction House Antiques Markt will feature antiques, collectibles, primitives, vintage, glassware, country furniture, postcards, advertising, early country, pottery, sterling silver, ephemera, lamps, vintage buttons, vintage photos, bread pudding, desserts, and coffee.

The two additional sites at FPHS will expand on the quality hand-crafted goods traditionally offered at this established Markt location.  Guests will find oak children’s furniture, decorative painting, floor cloths, penny rugs, rolling pins, custom landscape boulders, personalized ornaments, homemade pies, scroll-sawn items, inspirational, lamp work glass beads, jewelry, stained glass, serving accessories, leather goods, old windows, pillows, pepper mills, cutting boards, gemstones, soup and dip mixes, woodcarving, handmade greeting cards, wooden toys, knitted and crocheted scarves, photography, handmade soaps, hand-dyed yarns, woodcrafts, wreaths, German baked goods, children’s books and activities, holiday home décor, wall art, pottery, baby items, and much more.

The Ferdinand Community Center, the Tri-County YMCA Antiques Markt, and the Ferdinand American Legion round out the list of Markt locations.  Free shuttle service is available, if desired, with FPHS serving as the hub location for both shuttle routes.

 The Ferdinand Christkindlmarkt, a German heritage market, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST on Saturday, Nov. 17th and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST on Sunday, November 18th with over 150 vendors at six markt sites.
