Beagle mix up for adoption

Sunny is a young beagle mix who loves everyone.  She is spayed, housebroken and knows some commands.

We also need homes for a lot of cats and kittens who are now in the shelter.

Adoptions: Wednesdays 4:30-6:30 pm and Saturdays 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

The Dubois County Humane Society Pet of the Week is Dusty, described as a friendly, playful Rat Terrier mix. 

The shelter also reports that they have a lot of cats and kittens available.

Boxer mix up for adoption at DCHS

Our Dubois County Humane Society Pet of the Week is Rudy.  According to folks at the shelter, he is a beautiful male boxer mix that is approximately 1 year old.  His mother is a purebred boxer, but his dad's breed is a mystery.  

Rudy would do really well in a home with an active family. He has a lot of energy, and loves to run and play. Rudy likes the water, and can actually swim. Rudy is such a good dog, and is looking for his forever home.

Wanted: Pet photos for 2013 calendar

The Dubois County Humane Society is now accepting pictures for its 2013 Pet Calendar. The contest entry fee is $5.00 per photo.  The deadline to enter is August 1.

Entries can be digital or developed/printed photos.  For digital photos select a higher resolution setting for clarity.  Digital photos should be emailed to dchsmail@yahoo.com (put “calendar photo” on the subject line).

The Dubois County Humane Society Pet of the Week is a familiar face. Caden is still looking for a home.  He is a young male cat with a beautiful buff color.  He has white paws and a white tummy.  He is very friendly and would love a new forever home.

Your Dubois County Humane Society Pet of the Week is a cute little guy named Bernie.  He is a medium sized male Beagle and folks at the shelter say he has a great temperament and gets along with everybody.
