Each of the homeless dogs and cats at the Dubois County Humane Society Pet Adoption Center has requested some special items they would like to receive for Christmas this year.
To achieve that goal, a Wish Tree has been put up at the Pet Adoption Center starting on Saturday, November 17. On that tree are ornaments with each animal's name and picture and what they would like to have for Christmas.
Area residents can come in and choose one of the ornaments, purchase one or more of the items the dog or cat has requested, and bring the items to the Pet Adoption Center by December 22.
The ornaments can be picked up at the Pet Adoption Center, 426 Wernsing Road in Jasper during adoption hours on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30 pm or Saturdays 11:00 am-1:00 pm or during the Open House on December 1 and 2 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.
