Jasper woman killed in crash | News

A snow and slush-covered roadway is blamed on a fatal crash that killed a Jasper woman Tuesday afternoon.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says 61-year-old Margaret Clark died at the scene after her SUV collided with a mini-van on US 231 north of Farlen.  Investigators say the mini-van driven by a 17-year-old.spun out of control due to the weather conditions and Clark's SUV struck the van. 

She died at the scene.

The young driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.
