New development coming to Petersburg | News

A new development is coming to Petersburg.  Funding has been approved for the multi-use complex that will go up on Main Street between 6th and 7th Streets.

Mayor Frank Coleman says the $7 million project will encompass an entire block and include an urgent care facility in cooperation with Good Samaritan Hospital, a 40-unit senior affordable housing complex and retail space.

The project is part of the comprehensive plan to revitalize the community’s downtown area.
