5 hurt when van flips in Dubois County | News

A van carrying ten people overturned and went into a ditch Monday night, injuring five.

The Dubois County Sheriff's Department says the van was backing out of a driveway on Steinbottom Road north of SR 164 when it overshot the turn and went into the ditch,  The vehicle then flipped onto its top.

Celestine First Responders and Memorial Hospital EMS arrived on scene and treated the injured.  All were from Celina, Ohio.

Marco A. Carmona, 50, suffered a break and dislocation in the lower part of an arm, Raul Gutierrez, 47, Jordan Lockwood,21, Alberto Cervantez Jr. and Dustin M. Kunz, all had various minor injuries.

The accident happened just before 7:30.
