One injured in single car accident in Dubois Co.
DUBOIS CO, IN (WFIE)- One person suffered a spinal injury after an traffic in Dubois County.
Sheriff deputies responded to an accident on SR 145, about a mile south of the Birdseye loop around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Deputies say they found 19-year-old Cody Welp's vehicle about 200 feet off the side of the roadway.
Authorities say Welp told them he had been drinking.
Welp was taken to Memorial Hospital for a possible spinal injuries and was then airlifted to St. Mary's in Evansville for more evaluation.
Charges are still pending, deputies are waiting for the toxicology report.
