PIKE CO, IN (WFIE)- Indiana State Police say the passenger in one of the vehicles involved in an afternoon Pike County wreck has died of her injuries.
Troopers say 28-year-old Aaron Craig was driving his SUV northbound on S.R. 57 south of C.R. 125 South when he tried to turn left into Tim's Furniture and Appliance store and pulled into the path of 57-year-old Kathleen Blagrave, of Monroe City, who was driving southbound on S.R. 57.
Authorities say the vehicles collided and came to a final rest on the west side of S.R. 57.
Craig was airlifted to Deaconess Hospital where he's being treated for serious injuries. Craig's passenger, 60-year-old Tommy Saileau, of Petersburg, was transported by ambulance to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville where he's being treated for his injuries.
Troopers say Craig and Saileau were not wearing their seat belts.
Blagrave, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville where she was treated and later released.
Blagrave's passenger, 53-year-old Nancy Jones, of Monroe City, was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville where she later died from her injuries. Troopers say Jones was not wearing her seat belt and was partially ejected.
ISP says the investigation in ongoing.
