Fog, speed contribute to teen crash in Dubois County
News

DUBOIS CO, IN (WFIE)- Authorities say fog and speed caused a Dubois County teenager to crash into a house Thursday morning.

Deputies say the 17-year-old was driving about 60 miles an hour on County Road 550 West near Ireland, but couldn't see the stop sign at State Road 56 because of the fog.

Her car ran off the road and into the side of a house.

Deputies say the crash caused $30,000 in damages.

The teenager was taken to the hospital with hip pain. No one in the house was injured.
