Dubois Co. burn ban lifted
The burn ban in place for Dubois County since June 22 has been lifted. Our media partner, WITZ Radio, reports that Dubois County Emergency Management Director Tammy Miller says recent rains have helped reduce the threat of fires.
Residents can carry out open burning but should NOT burn household trash or waste such as plastic, garbage, processed lumber, treated lumber, cans, bottles, wire or tires. Those are items that should be recycled.
