Two new doctors at Memorial Hospital

Medical Oncologist Karim Anwar, M.D. and Urologist Kris Gunn, M.D., were recently appointed to the Medical Staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.

Dr. Anwar received his medical degree at King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington and completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at University of Massachusetts School of Medicine in Worcester.

He  was most recently on staff at Huntsman-Intermountain Southwest Regional Cancer Center in Saint George, Utah. He is board certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine.

Dr. Gunn was recently appointed to the Medical Staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. Dr. Gunn received his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

He completed his residency in urology at Washington University Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri and completed a research fellowship at University of North Carolina School of Medicine's Division of Urologic Surgery in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr. Gunn is a member of the American Urological Association.
