Huntingburg Farmer’s Market is up and running.
Officials say the Market will run from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. every Saturday through Oct 12th. This year’s Huntingburg Farmer’s Market will again be at Memorial Gym parking lot at 6th and Main Streets.
The Market will run from 7:30 am to 11:30 am every Saturday through Oct 12th. This year’s Huntingburg Farmer’s Market will again be at Memorial Gym parking lot at 6th and Main Streets.
Organizers say some items available at the Market include squish, zucchini, tomatoes, onions, sweet corn, green beans, beets, broccoli, golden plums, peaches, basil plants, and Swiss chard.
They say they are still looking for local farmers and individuals who might be interested in selling their produce, flowers, plants, baked goods, meat, and other homemade/handcrafted items at the market.
The Huntingburg Farmers’ Market requires that all vendors sell produce that are grown or made in Dubois, Martin, Orange, Crawford, Perry, Spencer, Warrick, Pike, and Davies Counties. Booth spaces are $7 per week or a permanent booth is available for $100 or two booths for $125.
The Huntingburg Farmers’ Market is organized by the Huntingburg Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Optimal Performance Chiropractic. For more information or to become a vendor, call 812-683-5699.
