Teens arrested for Jasper burglaries | Crime
Jasper Police have arrested two teenagers in connection with recent burglaries in the city.
Police say 18-year-old Alex D. Plake was taken into custody Thursday afternoon and charged with three counts of residential burglary and one attempted residential burglary.
The charges stem from an ongoing investigation conducted by JPD and the Dubois County Sheriff's Department.
Police say Plake and a 17-year-old boy are responsible for a break-in April 2 at a home on Dewey Street as well as an attempted burglary on Brosmer Street that same day as well as two addtional home break-ins, one on April 5 on West 9th Street and another April 11 on Greene Street.
Items taken during the spree indcluded computers, TVs, jewelry, cash, electronics and video games.
