Jasper man facing child neglect, huffing charges | Crime

A Dubois County man is arrested for huffing and child neglect.

Jasper Police say they found two girls walking along 3rd Avenue around 9 p.m. Sunday.  The girls told an officer they needed help because their dad had passed out.

Officers then went to 402 Geisler Road and took 34-year-old Wayne Hanshaw into custody.

He's charged with inhaling toxic vapors, resisting arrest and 3 counts of neglect of a dependent.

Child protective services was also contacted.
