Man who led agencies on multi-county chase gets 11 1/2 years

The Pike County man who led police on a high speed chase through three tri-state counties back in April is sentenced to 11 ½ years in prison.

The final charges listed for 24-year-old Justin Gordan are criminal confinement, attempted armed robbery and fleeing in a vehicle.

You might remember this story, especially if you were driving on U.S. 41 last April.

Athorities say Gordan tried to rob German American Bank in Princeton and then took off in a stolen truck.  Several law enforcement agencies joined in the chase, which created some tense moments that day.

Officers were eventually able to stop Gordan in northern Vanderburgh County and capturing him in a field.
