Jasper man facing bank fraud charges | Crime
A 66-year-old Jasper man has been arrested on bank fraud charges.
Police say David E. Harvey cahsed five checks at Freedom Bank knowing there wasn’t enough money in the account to cover them. He is facing five counts of defrauding a financial institution and five counts of check fraud.
The arrest stems from a prior investigation of Shawen Smith (a/ka Shawn Kinningham) and David G. Slaton who were arrested on similar charges in May.
Slaton and Kinningham are currently awaiting trial.
All three are in the Dubois County Security Center.
