Anonymous tip line on Town of Ferdinand website | Crime
The Ferdinand Police Department has added an “Anonymous Tip” section to the Town’s Citizen’s Action Center. The Citizen’s Action Center can be found online at www.ferdinandindiana.org or, for those with iPhones, it can be accessed quickly by using the Town’s iPhone app. The free app can be downloaded in the iPhone’s app store by searching for “Ferdinand IN” and allows users to submit pictures, as well.
The city says the Tip Action Center is completely and truly anonymous and should be used to report possible crime activity of any kind. Tips will be submitted directly to an officer and, when necessary, forwarded on to proper unit for investigation. The Police Department asks that, when leaving a tip, please be as specific as possible.
“This is an interesting and beneficial tool not only for the Ferdinand Police Department, but for our residents, as well,” said Town Manager Marc Steczyk. “Credit is to be given to Patrol Officer Nathan Lueken for suggesting this unique addition to our website and iPhone app.”
