The Board of Directors of ROJAC (Redevelop Old Jasper Action Coalition) wish to acknowledge the Dubois Co. Community Foundation for the $1500 received through their Community Grant Program in 2011.

Run/walk to benefit Dubois Co. Humane Society

A dog walk, “Mutt Strutt”, to benefit the Dubois County Humane Society will be held during the Ferdinand Folk Festival, on Saturday, September 17, starting at 2:00 pm at the 18th Street Park in Ferdinand, Indiana.  Late registrations will be accepted that day starting at 1:30 pm at the park.

Farmers: 2-3 minutes of your time could pay big dividends in your community

The Monsanto Fund has launched “America’s Farmers Grow Communities” for the second time, giving local farmers the opportunity to give $2,500 in unrestricted funding to their designated recipient.  Farmers are selected on a random basis, one per county, to award $2,500 to a local non-profit of their choosing.

The Ruxer 'Jenny' was the big winner, but after surviving three heats, the boat eventually broke apart! 

Looks like everyone at the Cardboard Regatta had a great time.  Cool event for Holy Family School.
