The Huntingburg Merchants Association is hosting the 27th annual Huntingburg Christmas Stroll starting Thursday, November 8 and running through Sunday, November 11.

The event kicks off with a performance by 'Will Read (or Sing) for Food’ Thursday night.

Friday offers all day shopping starting at 10:00 a.m. and the Holiday Home tour running from 5 to 9 p.m. This year’s tour includes Dr. Harvey Stork’s home with current owners Gary and Susie Stetter.

Saturday starts with a 5K run/walk followed by shopping starting at 10:00 a.m. and family-friendly events like horse-drawn carriage rides, a free concert by the 'Celebration Singers', a visit with Santa and Mrs. Clause, Strolling carolers from Southridge High School.

Sunday closes out the event with shops opening at noon, the delicious Cookie Walk at the Old Town Hall, as well as horse drawn carriage rides.

Free refreshment will be offered by most shops throughout the event.

Friday, November 9

                Shops Open 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for all-day and late-night shopping

                Holiday Home Tour 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., tickets available at the Hospitality House,

                The Downtown Emporium, Touch of Class and Gehlhausens’ Flowers & Gifts

                $10.00 each. Homes are:

                                Hospitality House: 519 E 4th Street (Steve & Carla Pershing)

                                Gary & Susie Stetter (Dr. Stork’s Home): 523 E 1st  St.                                                                           

Ellsworth Pickering: 431 E 4th St, Ste 200 (upper level-rear)

                                Salem Church: 202 E 4th Street (Historic Church Tour)

                                Mark & Tina Fetter: 100 N Chestnut St. (Corner of Chestnut & 1st St)

Saturday, November 10

                Shops Open 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. for all day shopping and late night shopping

                OFS Walk for Wishes: 5K Run/ Walk Event: registration at 8:00 a.m. at Huntingburg

                City Office, Fee: $20.00 adult, $10.00 child 15 and under. Event to be ran through the streets of Huntingburg and finish in the City Office Parking lot. 

                Horse Drawn Carriage Rides-pick up location is Old National Bank Parking Lot --11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

                Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive at 1:00 p.m.

Candlelight Christmas Concert at Salem Church at 7:00 p.m.  This will be the “Celebration Singers” first Christmas Event of the Season. Admission is free but donations will be accepted.

                Christmas Carolers from Southridge High School caroling down the streets.              

Sunday, November 11

                Shops Open noon to 5:00 p.m. for all-day shopping

                Cookie Walk upstairs at the Old Town Hall starting at noon until the cookies are gone!

                Horse Drawn Carriage Rides-pick up location is Old National Bank Parking Lot --noon - 3:00 p.m.

Free Refreshments in most shops during the Christmas Stroll.
